Fencing: common questions
How high should school fencing be?
Perimeter security fencing is commonly 1.8m–2.4m, early-years and bow-top boundaries around 1.2m, and MUGA rebound fencing 3m–4.5m depending on the sport. We recommend heights based on the risk each boundary manages.
What is anti-trap fencing?
Anti-trap fencing, such as bow-top railings, is designed without the gaps and spikes that can trap fingers, heads or clothing, making it the safer choice around children's play areas.
Can fencing be colour-matched?
Yes. Steel fencing is polyester powder-coated in a wide range of RAL colours so it complements your surfacing, markings and school branding.
